Prada mixed styles together in their A/W 2022 collection and Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada brought the house’s geek chic DNA back to life.
In Milan, the Prada catwalk brought together some of the house’s most iconic signatures. Through Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada’s prism of dual vision they reimagined Prada’s femininity while Prada’s geek chic was exhibited in streetwear designs, created by Raf Simons.
In particular, Miuccia Prada’smuch loved old-fashioned and pretty-ugly graphic motifs made appearances on jumpers which were paired with straight lace or flared feminine skirts.
The other stand out piece of the Prada A/W 2022 fashion show was the Pocono bomber adorned with flowers and feathers. A combination of Raf Simons’ aesthetic and a core Prada fabric.
Once again, it was in Prada’s pure minimalist expression that certain silhouettes reminded us of the importance of the house’s DNA. Notably seen in the opening look, in which the Prada logo collided with a geek chic silhouette in the best possible way!
