The Rolling Stones are living music, fashion and art legends, true icons who deserve a look back on while they prepare for their concert in Paris!
The Stones: Legends
It was in Londonâs West End where Mick Jagger, Keith Richard and Brian Jones formed what is now the worldâs most legendary rock band! Take yourself back to the start of the 60s.
More than 60 years later, in 2022, the Rolling Stones have had at least 13 full members who have come and gone over the years and gone on tours. The Stones have announced their tour which will have a concert at the Hippodrome de Longchamp in Paris on the 23rd of July 2022. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Steve Jordan are expected to replace the late genius Charlie Watts on drums.
How can you briefly describe the Stoneâs music? Anything Keith Richards played, from the simplest selection of notes to the most momentous riff, pushed the boundaries of music. Bill Wyman et Charlie Watts ont eu su attraper l’Ă©lan de Keith Richards pour mener la batterie dans des territoires encore inexplorĂ©s.
Charlie Watts brought his ear for jazz to the Stoneâs crazy heart. Finally, Mick Jaggerâs natural rhythm and showmanship made the Rolling Stones the ultimate rockânâroll band!
With 23 albums, from âBeggars Banquetâ (1968), âLet it Bleedâ (1969), âSticky Fingersâ (1971) and âExile on Main Streetâ (1972), the pioneers of Rock prompted a musical, style and above all a cultural revolution. Therefore, the Stones can be regarded as true icons. Their influence on the public, morals and fashion is simply astronomical!
Their lives have changed lives, and their outfits have defined an iconic genre and style. Even redefining masculinity.

Les Styles Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stonesâ androgynous look is mainly thanks to Keith Richards. In the band’s attempt to shed the aesthetic image that was too close to that of the Beatles, it was Keith Richards who first introduced an androgynous silhouette by nicking pieces from his then-girlfriend, the visionary Anita Pallenberg.
Wearing eye-catching jumpsuits, sharp suits and blue eye shadow, the Rolling Stones leader has been the model rock star for nearly six decades.
Then came the charismatic Mick Jagger and his cheeky on-stage persona, with his sexual style and serpentine dance moves which established the Rockstar.
Mick Jaggerâs flamboyance and gangly glamour set the standard for the rock star look; half dandy and half feminine!
From designer suits to furs, colours and above all the freedom of doing what had never been done before, the Stones moved fashion forwards by leaps and bounds.
In 1970, Mick met Bianca PĂ©rez-Mora Macias at their concert in Paris. A year later they got married in Saint-Tropez.
Both of them wore suits. She wore a Yves Saint Laurent dinner jacket, and he wore a bespoke three-piece made by the iconic Savile Row tailor Edward Sexton Like Biancaâs, Mickâs marriage look was the epitome of 70s glamour: a white suit, and dirty trainers. heir iconic wedding created a new wave of ceremonial looks.
Like their sound, their style also evolved over time. From New Wave to post-punk, 60 years of Rock are explored in Howard Kramer and Valeria Manferto De Fabianisâ book which comes out in April 2022.
In the lead up to the 2022 tour, the history of the Rolling Stonesâ is the topic of this book selection.
