Bugatti Chiron Cars Are Now Completely Sold Out

The Bugatti Chiron, of which 500 copies were planned for production, arrived on the market in 2016. Approximately 6 years later, its entire production has been granted: There is only one copy of the model left.

At the end of October 2021, Bugatti had already alerted potential clients that the time to buy the Chiron was running short. At that time, less than 40 copies were still available. In total, 150 clients ordered a Chiron last year, 60% of them were new clients.

Out of the 150 future owners, 40 chose the Bugatti Bolide, nicknamed “the most extreme Bugatti of all time”. The Bolide was put on the market for only a couple of months at a price nearly twice as superior as the Chiron, which is about 4M€. The first deliveries will happen in 2024.

2021 was a busy year for Bugatti, with the beginning of deliveries for the Super Sport 300+ and the shipment of the “Voiture Noire”, a $13.4M one-off vehicle which belongs to a mystery owner. Regardless, all of the Divo cars have been delivered. Bugatti has also opened 4 showrooms in Tokyo, Singapore, Riyad and Manchester.

As for what Bugatti has in store for 2022, the 10 copies of the Centodieci, a sweet hommage to the EB110, will be delivered to their owners. The deliveries for the Super Sport will begin shortly, according to the global planning in which the delivery of 80 vehicles is scheduled.

2022 will also mark the beginning of the joint works between Bugatti & Rimac, with 435 employees: 300 of them will work at a location in Zagreb and 135 in Molsheim, in addition to the 180 employees from the development center in Wolfsburg of the Volkswagen group.

As a reminder, the Rimac group holds 55% of the shares while the 45% left belong to Porshe. Mate Rimac, founder and CEO of Rimac Automibili, is now the CEO of the new company. Its headquarters are located in Sveta Nedelja. Porshe will be a “strategic shareholder”. We now wait for more information on future models which will be developed under the aegis of Bugatti Rimac and were already announced to be “extraordinary” models.
