Description : Produced in the second distillery of the Nikka Whiskey group created in 1969, the single malt Miyagikyo is less marked by peat than its illustrious elder, Yoichi. Rarely peaty, it expresses itself wonderfully in sherry cask versions. Within the classic range, the 12 year old achieves the perfect balance between bourbon barrels and sherry barrels. Rich and concentrated, it is both fruity, spicy, chocolatey and even slightly salty.
