This Komagatake was therefore produced and distilled with Shinsu distillation equipment, then aged in a warmer region, which allowed it to enrich itself with citrus notes, notably with a zest of candied lemon and a hint of peat on the nose. It is a very smooth and delicate whisky on the palate.
