Now accessible, each vintage of the Cristal cuvée is a success and a praise for the Louis Roederer produce. Coming from an 80-hectare estate patiently built up since 1845 and now made up of 45 exceptional plots cultivated in organic farming, the Cristal 2014 vintage is the result of a meticulous selection allowing the best of the 45 plots to shine in a blend 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay.
The brand also notes “the fruit of the best chalk soils, where the pebbles reflect the light of the sky, and of a winemaker’s approach of an haute-couture allure executing virtuous practices on a daily basis, such as mass selection, soft carving, long fallows and biodynamic composts.”
