Dries Van Noten: A/W 2022 Collection bursting with enchanting prints

Once again Dries Van Noten has delivered a sensual men’s collection – exhibiting his vision for the upcoming season around an explosive fusion of prints.

“I really think about young people who can’t go out, can’t meet other people, can’t touch, can’t make love. All those things with the whole Covid-19 situation. And sometimes you make a collection that is a counteraction to what is going on in the world. We don’t know if it’s before or after the party. But there is a lot going on in the house.”

Dries Van Noten’s core reference for his Autumn/Winter 2022 men’s collection narrative was designed to be the ideal wardrobe for a house party. Photographed by photographer Casper Sejersen, the collection consists of sensual, delicate and highly refined male silhouettes.

So, what exactly is Van Noten’s signature style? His sharp use of enchanting prints – and the exhilarating combination of two explosive motifs, for example, the Dries Van Noten Hawaiian inspired hibiscus prints and the abstract leopard print. As the designer puts it a “clash of clichés”, resulting once again in a new vision of men’s fashion.
