The New Tod’s Fall/Winter 2017 Campaign

The Tod’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection shines with rare simplicity. With the new #TodsStory, this campaign is offering a seductive game. The idea: a writer, played by Derek Blasberg, is attempting to transcribe the essence of a woman on paper. At the same time, the elegant Andreea Diaconu incarnates the secret of the Tod’s woman’s allure. With muted, versatile, and cosmopolitan style, the art of the Italian manufacturer’s hand-made goods is transformed into a declaration of a unique lifestyle anchored in a reserved and refined attitude.

Filmed at the heart of the sumptuous Villa Necchi Campiglio in Milan, next season’s campaign also honors the sophistication and comfort of Tod’s pieces. From Gomminos to bags, a duo-chrome dialogue is imagined for the Fall/Winter 2017 silhouette. Shot by Michael Jansson, these images show a collection of boots and shoes that espouse black, brown, and Tod’s red. Bags are sometimes arranged in noble leather. A balance of colors and lines marks the absolute perfection of Tod’s style, with extreme sophistication and comfort all wrapped up in a super elegant aura. This short film introduces a dream of a man and a woman, with the extreme delicateness unique to the Tod’s universe.
