Since 1924, the year that fine jewelry house Damiani was founded, from generation to generation, this Piedmont family has been illuminating the greatest and most notable families of the Mediterranean with their precious stones and metals. These exceptional works, either custom-made or from their cult classic MasterPiece collections, are conceived, made, and produced in Italy, which gives them their quality and prestige.

At Damiani, the diamond is a family story;  it’s not complicated when Silvia Damiani admits to spending afternoons in their workshops contemplating emeralds and gold particles. It is thanks to this passion for excellence that Damiani in the late 80s released Gomitolo or “ball of yarn”, in Italian. On this soft, light, and airy theme, the jeweler decided to shine and thus embellishes his interlacements of gold or silver with diamond and the pavé technique to adorn the hands of the most beautiful of women with a tapestry of luxurious and refined light.

The virtuosity of Damiani’s pieces take wing in the ability to reinterpret the iconic piece that seduced Sharon Stone, Milla Jovovich, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jennifer Aniston among others. For the brand’s 85th anniversary, the cult ring was released as facets of various Italian cities. The Venice ring was decked out with diamonds in a thousand colors to evoke Carnaval, Naples was lined with blue diamonds to recall the sea, and the beautiful Milan deployed its palette of grey and beiges to shine forth as the incontestable queen of fashion and elegance. For summer, Gomitolo is bringing us on a marvelous voyage made of luxurious curves with the newest edition in silver with a restyling made of ivory and black enamel. For 90 years, the house has been repeating this experience with a collection of ten pieces, one per decade for the sake of a past with bright and elegant pieces.
