Diorshow is reinventing itself but taking care to preserve all the unique features that initially made it a success. The newest addition to Dior’s mascara line is taking form under the direction of Peter Philips.
Taken directly from the creative director’s makeup cabinet, the new innovations in 2015 play with recomposing the gaze by combining ultra-femininity and absolute modernity. This elegant 21st-century tool is a style icon that doesn’t hesitate to incorporate details from runway shows. This summer, Peter Philips perfected his mannequin’s eyes with a poetic lash-addition. This cosmic touch of glamour was captured and is now being made available in the new Diorshow formula, promising custom-made volume that’s ready to be applied time after time.
But Diorshow is still the same. The proof is the mythic XXL brush inspired by a toothbrush – used as a mascara applicator by professional makeup artists to give the lashes a dense and captivating volume. The novelty resides in a brand new formula that is now enriched by microfibers: with each application, the lashes become more full, longer, magnifying the eye with an haute couture touch of progressive volume. The volume is constructed with each application, no restrictions, and the lashes appear multiplied. Another major innovation: the new Diorshow’s midnight blue tube encloses a small technological treasure – “air-lock” technology that limits the infiltration of air into the case and prevents the formula from drying out. Day after day, use after use, the texture preserves its freshness and quality. Definitely made to be used without moderation.
