Description : This prestigious chateau signs a very fine vintage. The Canon la-Gaffelière vineyard is located on the south coast of Saint-Emilion with excellent exposure. The old vines, around 50 years old, come from clay-limestone and clay-sandy soils which constitute a complex and exceptional terroir. From this terroir and the know-how of Stephan Von Neipperg results a wine of remarkable structure, always elegant and racy, with a very good length in the mouth. The wine is aged for 16 months in barrels, 50% of which are new. Intense aromas of blackcurrant, stewed blueberry and rose petal, mingle with sweet wood spices and the minerality of the soil. Its originality provides remarkable sensations!
