The couture designer Alber Elbaz reveals this season the new perfume from Lanvin: Me
“Me is a partition of emotions of every instant, a music of meaning,” says the designer of house Lanvin. Initially, bright and intensive aromas; blackberry and a touch of blueberry (referring to codes of Parisian fashion house), tint the atmosphere. Then the fragrance develops heady scents with tuberose, before melting on sensual base notes like licorice. “A light sensual fragrance, addictive and with a stylish signature” explains the nose Domitilla Bertier who worked with Alber Elbaz.
This floral and sensual cocktail breaks with the tradition of the Lanvin perfumes, from Eclat d’Arpège to Marry Me. Unique, Alber Elbaz thought of it as an affirmation of the modern woman, bold and complex, the Lanvin woman: “The Me woman is individual. This does not mean individualistic or narcissistic, no, she is individual because she thinks it. She pays attention to who she is and what she wears, rather than seeking to position herself in relation to others. As Me is a gift perfume, the Me woman likes to give it to others. “
Fashion designer above all else, Alber Elbaz brought a particular flavor to the design of his new fragrance. A bottle with rounded lines retains the essence of perfume, a diamond rhinestone dances at the end of a golden chain. A black cabochon tops the mythical seal of Lanvin, bringing a touch of refinement to this precious jewel. “A woman without perfume is a woman without a future,” said Coco Chanel.
