The Lamborghini Huracán may be in its last months of commercialization, at least the one we know at the moment, with a 5.2-litre V10 atmospheric engine that sounds so captivating.
But before leaving the Bull brand’s catalogue, the Huracán offers itself a little refreshment with this Tecnica version.
Even though less spectacular than the STO, but certainly more intimidating than an EVO, the new Huracán Tecnica carries a kind of lying black “Y” painted just under the optics, clearly derived from the famous Terzo Millennio, while other elements refer to the Essenza SCV12.
The Tecnica is 6.1 cm longer than the EVO and features new “Damiso” 20-inch alloy wheels that we can also find on the Lamborghini Vision GT. The engineers focused on the pleasure of driving by including new aesthetic features that fit visually and aerodynamically.
The aerodynamic drag has been reduced by 20%, while the support force has increased by 35% compared to the previous model. According to the Italian manufacturer, these changes promote stability at high speeds.
The incredible V10 is still at the center of the project. It remains 100% thermal and develops 640 horsepower at 8,000 rpm, 565 Nm of torque. The maximum speed is announced at 325 km/h, it weighs only 1,379 kilos on the scale and the 0 to 100 km/h is shot down in 3.2 seconds.
Available this year, the new Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica will certainly not be the last Huracán of the saga since the Sterrato version is expected for this year too. It will be a slightly more adventurous version with prominent wheel arches and some characteristics adapted for the off-road.
