Historic Monaco GP: An Exclusive Tag Heuer Watch
If the DNA of Tag Heuer resonates particularly with that of the Monaco GP, it is because the watchmaker has long been linked to this stage of the F1 Grand Prix.
Now the official sponsor of the Monaco Historic GP, Tag Heuer has, since the 80s, linked his fate to that of the star of F1: the driver Ayrton Senna. From 1988 to 1993, the triple Formula 1 World Champion, Ayrton Senna, was the ambassador of TAG Heuer — also becoming the first face of the advertising campaign that forever established the TAG Heuer mantra. ‘Don’t crack under pressure’.
In 2022, the iconic F1 watchmaker introduced an epic, technical watch full of panache… The Monaco Gulf Special Edition, a special edition co-created with the Gulf brand that owns the key codes of both houses.
Equipped with the Heuer 02 manufacture movement – a first for the TAG Heuer Monaco Gulf collection – the Allie watch combines two historical expertise… In line with the spirit of the 13th edition of the Monaco Historic GP.
For each edition of this GP, more than 200 legendary cars, representing 50 different car manufacturers and 21 countries, enter the competition.
Selected for their historical value, their panache, and their degree of originality, the cars compete in seven series covering the periods of the 1930s to 1970s on the majestic stage that is the iconic circuit of the Principality.
