Rounded shoulders, a cinched waist, a high chest, these are the words from the stylistic vocabulary of Christian Dior. The iconic Bar suit, the skirt from the Corolle Line; the New Look created after the war has been invited to Boulevard Haussmann, next to the legendary Lady Dior bag. Starting November 9, Raf Simons, the new artistic director of Dior, has recalled the iconic pieces of the brand with an homage to the small fashion theatre: 74 dolls, designed in the studio of the Maison, among the snowy landscape of a Parisian Christmas. Dior tells the story using 11 windows of the Printemps Haussmann, depicting more than half a century of history, and narrated by 12 haute-couture models. Dior at the Boulevard Haussman: a contemporary décor for a timeless ball.
