Designed in 1961 for La Fonda del Sol restaurant at Rockefeller Center, La Fonda dining table embodies the exploration of the chicness of steel and tubular shapes loved by the duo Charles & Ray Eames.
Name of the product : La Fonda
Designer : Charles et Ray Eames
Description : Charles and Ray Eames were very happy to invite you to dinner. And if you like to receive a lot of guests, you also need a good table to have enough space for food, drinks and also decorative elements. The two designers created this table themselves: Vitra’s 130 cm diameter segmented round table. The basic elements of the basic frame are held together by a “connector”, which is not only an important part of the sophisticated modularity of the table, but also represents the “connection” that guests and guests share at a table. The different possible combinations of table tops and frames make it possible to configure the Vitra segmented dining table to fit perfectly into any dining room.
