A mythic silhouette, iconic frills. The 24 hours bag by Gérard Darel has been THE Parisian bag par excellence since 2003. To celebrate its 10th birthday, the brand is honoring its emblematic accessory by releasing two new styles with brand new colors and details.

Able to be taken anywhere and available in multiple colors, the 24 hours sports a simple and chic shape, a reflection of elegance à la française. Available over the years in snakeskin, raffia, mesh, or even with fringes, its metamorphic powers are one of the reasons it has secured such a reputation.

This year, the brand is paying homage by creating two new styles. The first, the 24 hours Eton, boasts a brainy schoolgirl allure. Taking the shape of a book bag, it uses decorative tabs instead of the usual leather laces. Rounded and thick around the edges, it still stays in the same realm as its predecessor. With off white, black, and caramel versions, it’s able to be both classic and original. Equipped with an adjustable strap, it can be carried in your hand or worn on the shoulder.

The second, dubbed 24 hours Blossom, has more of a rock vibe. With a zippable flap, it appears as a more bold and self-assured version of the original. The frills on the sides are still present, laced with lines of leather. The two handles also stick with tradition, sporting the same fantastical buckle and identical metal inserts as the 2003 24 hours.

Revealing a delicate and ultra-feminine universe, Gérard Darel has established himself with elegance and spontaneity, inspired by classic icons like Jacky Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe.
