It’s called “Legendary Style”, and Tiffany’s Fall 2016 campaign is without a doubt one of the most highly anticipated. It’s the first time that the jewelry brand has invited a personality from the fashion world to orchestrate an ad campaign. This is how the great Grace Coddington was given the chance to highlight Tiffany’s timeless pieces.

“Tiffany’s and their emblematic Blue Box have always had a special meaning in my eyes,” says Grace Coddington. “I think it’s not just an ad campaign but an opportunity to represent an iconic brand through modern and unique talents. Each one of them reflects in their own way Tiffany’s emblematic collections.” One of her missions was casting celebrities with powerful expressions. That’s how her choice fell on Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o, Elle Fanning, and models Christy Turlington Burns and Nathalie Westling.

Staged with strong and authentic portraits – captured by photographer David Sims – these personalities each have their own way of incarnating and wearing Tiffany & Co. jewelry. Each celebrity shares her own interpretation of “Legendary Style”. Since it was Grace Coddington that styled them, each of them sports the iconic pieces that most exactly reflect their style and personality.

Lupita Nyong’o wears a Tiffany T Square bracelet like an expression of self-confidence – an image of strength and vitality.
