The new gold iPhone 5S is already making ripples in the fashion world. In its higher grade version, the latest iPhone intends to mark a new stage in its path towards technological perfection by filming the entirety of the Burberry Prorsum show. Christopher Bailey had this to say on the subject: “We have a mutual passion for creating beautiful products and unlocking emotive experiences through technology, which has made it intensely exciting to explore the capabilities of iPhone 5s.” Indeed, the label’s creative director is depending on the iPhone 5S to immortalize, illustrate, and capture the looks, the collection, and the backstage action in photos and videos in order to share this event in a more intimate way. Everything will be streamed live on the brand’s website, during and after the show.
The iPhone 5S has a number of new additions with which to capture the show. A brand new iSight 8 megapixel camera capable of filming in 1080p. A wider f/2.2 aperture. A new sensor bigger than 1.5 million pixels. Autofocus and shooting capabilities that are double their previous speed. An automatic image and video stabilizing tool. A new True Tone flash that automatically adjusts the color and intensity in more than 1,000 different combinations for more natural shots. A new burst mode and a Slo-Mo video mode at 120 images per second. Looks like this camera leaves nothing to be desired next to other devices! Apple is hoping to promote all the winning qualities of its new camera through this life-size experiment. And, good news for Burberry: they’ll get their hands on the device before everyone else.
