The Louis Vuitton Monogram In Neon For 2022

The iconic Louis Vuitton Monogram is once again reinventing itself through the prism of rave culture!

A mini-film directed by Mahfuz Sultan and entitled ‘Amen Break’ presents the supercharged vision for the 2022’s Spring/Summer collection by the artistic director of Louis Vuitton, Virgil Abloh. And it is through the prism of Rave culture that one of the most famous logos in the world is reinventing itself.

The Louis Vuitton Monogram On Iconic Pieces

In neon on iconic bags such as the Keepall and the Louis Vuitton suitcase, the Monogram LV dresses the house’s flagship pieces with new creativity. And there’s more. “I started to let my imagination run wild. I try to create the world as I would like to see it in real life. To have something that is pop culture and fashion is education, and maybe it opens minds. For me, it’s the pole star, ”said Virgil Abloh.

It is true that the silhouettes of Louis Vuitton men for the next summer season emerge a pop, colorful and otherwise stylized aura. Inspired by rave culture and its codes all in saturated colors and neon lights, the collection is also centered on the meeting of different universes. A mash-up of cultures, styles and pop references which finds its climax in these silhouettes where Vuitton refinement meets hip pop, and the culture of ravers!

Continuing from last season, Virgil Abloh’s aesthetic vision for Louis Vuitton thus seems to push elegance towards experimentation and meeting opposites.
