In 1965, when Habit Rouge was composed by Jean-Paul Guerlain, it was first a focused on attracting gentlemen to the perfume counter… For this, the iconic nose of French perfumery took over the basic contours of Shalimar and its famous accord of citrus and sweet oriental notes.
