A glass of 2015 Château d’Yquem says all about exquisiteness of french wine. Château d’Yquem is the only Premier Cru Supérieur (the term describing classification of wine from Bordeaux) of all the wines of Sauternes, since it was by Napoleon III in 1855. Its dedication to the nature- the temperamental climate ruling hillsides around- is what makes the excellence and exclusive character of this wine. Few palaces that give the spirit of wine are worth mentioning: the one of Louis XIV, Napoleon III or even Thomas Jefferson who wrote in 1787, after his visit to France, that Château d’Yquem is the best French white wine.
Domain : Château d’Yquem
Year : 2015
Description : A Superior First Growth produced in the Sauternes appellation, Chateau d’Yquem is the most popular sweet wine in the world. The estate covers 113 hectares of vines, and the vineyard production area spreads out over about 100 hectares, which take advantage of the warm, dry top soils with gravel. The wine is aged in barrels for 20 months (with 15 rackings and a light fining). The Chateau d’Yquem 2015 comes from a blend of 75% Semillon and 25% Sauvignon Blanc.

The Hôtel de Bourrienne is the only private residence that remains in Paris to recall the atmosphere of the Directoire and the Consulate. A series of small miracles has made this two hundred year continuity possible: since the end of the Age of Enlightenment, great speculators, financiers, manufacturers and captains of industry have succeeded one another within its walls in order to preserve a heritage that is rich in memories. After four years of ambitious restoration, the architecture and decorations are once again revealed with singularity and elegance.

On Vancouver Island stands a hotel with glass walls, only accessible by sea. It is frequented by an exclusive clientele that wants to break with “connected civilization”. There, no wifi, no cell phone, we’re at the end of the world.
Paul, an aspiring composer, and his sister Vincent, an amateur videographer, all work at the Hotel Caiette. One evening, while waiting for the arrival of the New York billionaire Jonathan Alkaitis, the manager discovers with horror a tag engraved on one of the transparent walls: “What if you swallow broken glass?” Who is the author of this threatening graffiti? Is it intended for someone?
In this luxury haven, people meet, destinies are made and fall apart. At the Caiette Hotel, but also in Vancouver and New York, lives will take an unexpected and often dramatic turn. As a butterfly in Brazil can cause a storm in Texas, a drink at the Hotel Caiette bar can ruin an existence…
