Les Étangs de Corot

To celebrate the summer of 2024, Les Étangs de Corot offers an immersion in a haven of greenery and preserved nature, just fifteen minutes from Paris and five minutes from Versailles. Nestled in the heart of this peaceful sanctuary, the Café des Artistes, the hotel’s bistronomic restaurant, welcomes its guests from Tuesday to Sunday on a magnificent terrace.

The Terrace at Les Étangs de Corot: Luxury and Serenity Stay

The hotel Les Étangs de Corot is the perfect balance between luxury, nature, and history. For a summer getaway or an extended stay, this four-star establishment promises an unforgettable experience just a few steps away from the hustle and bustle of Paris…

With its 42 rooms, it offers an experience of discreet luxury and a gentle way of life at the heart of the hotel. The setting is so mythical because the Impressionist painter Camille Corot and his friends came here to seek inspiration, surrounded by nature!

Today, in this elegant haven, each room, steeped in history and art, boasts a unique decoration. The spa, set in an exceptional environment, offers a range of relaxing treatments showcasing PHYTOMER’s expertise, ideal for rejuvenation. It provides a profound relaxation experience for both body and mind, offering an unparalleled wellness retreat. Among the treatments, the PHYTOMER 100% Body Ritual stands out with its combination of sea salt crystal exfoliation, detoxifying marine wrap, and Trésor des Mers treatment. This personalized massage revitalizes the body and can be enjoyed alone or with a partner!

Most notably, the establishment has two restaurants, including one Michelin-starred, all labeled Relais & Châteaux, ensuring impeccable quality and service.

Chef Rémi Chambard draws deep inspiration from the nature and terroir of Île-de-France to create his dishes at the Michelin-starred restaurant Le Corot. Here, guests enjoy a unique menu dedicated to the flavors of the Île-de-France region, highlighting products from villages such as Meaux and Choisy-le-Roi. The Chef excels in the art of enhancing the natural qualities of local produce – in fact, Rémi Chambard performs his own “urban foraging” at the Potager du Roi in Versailles to better incorporate these fresh ingredients into his culinary creations. Trout with sorrel and finger lime, mushrooms with agastache and caramelized onions, duck accompanied by cherries and zucchini… The sober and intimate restaurant Le Corot pampers the palate with delights akin to the paintings of the artist it is named after.

The Café des Artistes by Chef Rémi Chambard highlights local products and short supply chains, offering family-style gourmet cuisine. On the menu, a market selection features seasonal dishes such as veal blade carpaccio, creamy burrata, sea bass tartare with citrus, roasted pollock, plancha-cooked duck breast, and confit pork shoulder. Each dish celebrates the freshness and quality of the ingredients, enhanced by the chefs’ expertise.

And then, there’s the famous guinguette… To mark the 150th anniversary of Impressionism, Les Étangs de Corot is reconnecting with its illustrious past by reviving the famous riverside guinguettes.

Every Friday, from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM until the end of September, the Guinguette des Étangs offers a convivial evening with live music, skewers, tapas, dim sum, and signature cocktails.

This unique and historic setting, combined with a festive atmosphere, evokes the moments of joy and relaxation that have made this timeless place famous. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful days in an idyllic setting.
