Eristoff vodka transcends the steppes of Russia and an entire history of Czars… Count Eristoff first came to prominence in the 3rd century B.C., when King Pharnavaz united the ancient tribes of Georgia by bestowing upon seven princes the title of “Eristhavi”, or Eristoff, meaning “Chief of the Nation”. Throughout the centuries, these provincial governors were admired throughout Georgia, which in those days was part of the Russian empire. One family would preserve the name Eristhavi; just like the majority of noble houses of the era, this family produced its own vodka, a symbol of their hospitality offered to guests that would stay in or visit their abode. In the 11th century, the Northwest province of Racha, where the Eristoff family originally heralds from, was called “Virshan”, which means “Land of the Wolves”. This would soon take on a whole new meaning: the brand’s seal is a wolf underneath a moon, representing the Persian name for Georgia: Virshan, or “Land of the Wolves”.

The recipe for Eristoff vodka has remained a family secret, naturally passed down from generation to generation. Concocted using pure grains, distilled many times over within a three-step process, the liquor is then carbon filtered to give it its unparalleled smooth taste. Eristoff vodka also delights the palate with a hint of licorice and green apple as well as a creamy aftertaste that softly lingers in the mouth. Eristoff came out with a brand new version of their online game Eristoff Factory this year. Through four rounds where you can create your very own Black to Basics cocktails (or caipiroskas) as well as two brand new recipes this year – Red and Blood Orange – Eristoff is offering a new way to imagine your casual drink sessions. Whether with friends or pre-gaming alone, these new features can be discovered online on your desktop, smartphone, or tablet.
