Alessandra Facchinetti, previously with Gucci, and Valentino before that, is imagining clean-cut and precise yet comfortable silhouettes for this summer. “Everything emphasizes, nothing holds back.” Using the latest technological advances, the laser-made cuts make this sportswear intensely feminine. Its special touch: sophisticatedly sporty. Bright pantsuits, patterned perfectos that fall perfectly over the shoulders, shirt-dresses, underskirts, and bermuda shorts worn with the iconic “Gommino” moccasins, these pieces are available in every pastel shade. The line is urban, contemporary, and feeds off of a certain Italian breed of sophistication.

Indeed, Alessandra Facchinetti’s demonstrated mastery of leather is nothing short of fascinating. On dresses and wraparounds, perfectos and tops, she continues to write the never-ending story of leather. The waist is enveloped in the sensuality of details that are part of pure Italian savoir-faire. Optical effects on leather and prints on cotton or silk give a coherence to this line where leather is stripped down and brought to its pinnacle. Natural, sensual like a flower in paradise or graphic like a mangrove swamp, these filters make for a number of easy-to-wear and dangerously desirable pieces.
