Nicolas Ghesquière was inspired by none other than the Safari look for the new Fall/Winter 2014 Ready-To-Wear Collection for Louis Vuitton. There were various types of skins, suede, and leather in this new collection and of course, these materials were used in innovative ways. However, although innovative, one was able to spot iconic traits of the house such as the classic “Speedy Bag”. This piece made an appearance in the collection, but in all leather, conforming to the Safari-esque spirit of the collection. Nonetheless, Louis Vuitton continues to bear a must-have look, producing pieces such as the “Speedy Bag” that are globally seeked after.
