A timeless symbol of the Yves Saint Laurent’s vision. On Veruschka’s shoulders the safari jacket became iconic, first pictured on glazed paper! The safari jacket was designed for a Vogue Paris photoshoot by the photographer Rubartelli, in 1968 as Vershucka revealed that she wanted “hunters to be able to say that I followed them in their tracks and slept under mosquito nets at the Bout du Monde camp”. She now embodies YSL’s free and inspiring vision of fashion.
