The Dom Perignon Rosé 2006 vintage is special in many ways; it was all a question of climate, but also of that of Richard Geoffroy’s assembly, the house’s legendary Cellar Master who passed the torch on to his disciple in 2019. He confessed that the Dom Pérignon Rosé 2006 is “the only one in 28 years one that has kept me awake at night.”

Description : The Dom Pérignon owes its name to the famous monk and attorney of the Abbey of Hautvillers in 1668, Pierre Pérignon dit Dom Pérignon. According to legend Pierre Pérignon discovered what is known today as the Champagne method. For the anecdote, he will teach this method in 1669 to the Benedictine Thierry Ruinart who will thus allow Ruinart to become historically the first Champagne house in 1729. Since January 1, 2019, Vincent Chaperon succeeded Richard Geoffroy as Cellar Master of Dom Pérignon.
