Alexander takes his logomania from the gimmicky 90s. Just like he did during this decade, he slaps his own name all over his creations. But with candor. Subtly worked, his W.A.N.G. signature slips onto a number of pieces in the collection; on classics revisited in a desirable modernity, or even an accessible one, his fingerprint is present, in addition to “wang lace”, on belts that ooze into a sort of viscous liquid. A wise equation of streetwear and minimalist grunge, punctuated by athletic vibes, has led him to reinterpret the hip-hop inspired “baggy” style.
A technical marvel, his trendy nonchalance is entirely incarnated in his grey mouse pants with balloon hips, containing pockets and delicate, bold pleats.
