People need good-looking pants and quality sweaters that they can wear all the time.” The founder of Joseph spent his entire life creating a sober, chic, and intelligent wardrobe – a wardrobe that would mix British gumption with the timelessness of iconic pieces. To do this, the couturier always put an accent on cuts and materials, surreptitiously working a trompe l’oeil look and style into pleats.

For Fall/Winter 2017-2018, the creative director worked with a military inspiration flaunted on overtly feminine cut-outs – pure and impeccable, these royal lines and sliding hems meet noble fabrics like satin and English lace.
