A special collection of perfumes, Hermessence evokes the essence of Hermès and the soul of perfume. This line for both men and women bears testament to the prestigious brand’s creative liberty and uniqueness, its novel and poetic nature reinvented by Jean-Claude Ellena, perfumer for Hermès. His latest olfactory miracle is called Muguet Porcelaine, and it incarnates the quintessence of the perfumer.
Muguet Porcelaine is a showering of delicate muguet bells, evoking the opalescent whiteness of porcelain. Jean-Claude Ellena took on this classic theme within the realm of perfumery to deliver a more personal interpretation. “As far as I can recall, I’ve never challenged an odor in this way. I plunged myself into its scent, up to the point of forgetting the other senses, to restore the beauty and supple sensuousness of this flower that’s fragile like porcelain.” The perfumer wanted to render this fragrance “eloquent and luminous” through an effluvium of white muguet bells and green leaves.
Hermessence Muguet Porcelaine brings us beauty through its eloquent namesake flower with celestial and joyous tones. Traversed by a springtime air, its sheath is dressed up by vivacious greenery while a burst of green also breaks up the transparency of its flask. Like a collection of olfactory poems, Hermessence freely wanders down the path of emotions.
