During the Belgian haute couture house’s runway show in Paris, the result of four years of research was finally revealed. Five unique pieces of jewelry graced the couturier’s pieces, like diamond stalactites. MMM and Swarovski came together around the idea of an “artisanal” haute couture runway. For its first partnership with a fashion house, the jeweler experimented with its “nouveau luxury” concept: made of crystalactite – a material specially fashioned by the two brands just for the occasion – the jewelry melts into a new and precious hybrid that mixes crystal and matte white resin without striking a false note. The result is arresting, sparkling without being exorbitant.
A perfect accessory for couture and ready-to-wear alike, it suits the back of a boot as well as a woman’s forearm or a man’s wrist. These stalactites, what with their asymmetrical design, are part of this luxurious collection of couture jewels that, calibrated at the dawning of innovation and experimentation, bring together Swarovski’s traditions and MMM’s futuristic allure. This fabulous line offers bracelets, rings, pendants, and inexhaustibly inspiring clips: whether in your hair, on your ankles, or on your tie, nothing is too much or too little. Winter shapes were subtly integrated into the Belgian brand’s couture show on July 3rd. The line will be available in the designer’s boutiques starting in November.
