Icon-Icon Opinion :

The rosé iteration of the first champagne brand, established in 1729, in which the pinot noir is masterfully deployed. Ruinart’s rosé is elegant; it gifts the palate with raspberry sauce, yellow peach, camomile and tapered almond hinted flavours.

Name of the Product : Ruinart Champagne Rosé Brut

Brand : Ruinart

Description : It was during a trip to the Abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Prés that Dom Thierry Ruinart understood the potential of his native region of Champagne in the development of the famous bubbles. Officially created in 1729 by his nephew Nicolas Ruinart, the prestigious residence continues to flourish today through the signature: “The oldest house in Champagne”.

Terroir: Ruinarts champagnes are made from grapes from the Côte des Blancs, the Montagne de Reims, the Sézannais des Coteaux and the Vesle valley. The Ruinart estate extends over nearly 17 hectares of vines, but the house buys 90% of the grapes from winegrower suppliers.

Viticulture: The harvest is manual.

Winemaking: The Ruinart house uses chalk cellars, called “Crayères” in the winemaking process.
