Gräshoppa was created in 1947 by Greta Magnusson Grossman, designer and architect of Swedish origin. In 1930, Greta left Stockholm and settled on the west coast of the United States. She introduced Californians to the unique style of Danish modernism, led by Arne Jacobsen.
