Louis Roederer Millésimes de Rosé Late Release – Louis Roederer elevates the art of time with its new Rosé Late Release: five vintages revealing over twenty years of aging.
Louis Roederer Millésimes de Rosé Late Release: A Tribute to the Power of Time
The House of Louis Roederer unveils a new treasure from its collection of aged vintages with the launch of its Rosé Late Release, a series of five exceptional cuvées carefully preserved for over two decades in its historic cellars. Two years after the success of its Vintage Late Release, Louis Roederer returns with this rosé edition, celebrating the patience and craftsmanship of an iconic house.
Sourced from the “Rivière” vineyard, an iconic terroir listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, this exceptional rosé champagne combines complexity, freshness, and depth, elevating the tasting experience to new heights. The vintages from 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, and 1999 each offer a unique interpretation of the House’s bold vision, under the inspired direction of its Cellar Master, Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon.
The Rosé Late Release truly pays tribute to Louis Roederer’s mastery of time. This champagne, aged an additional ten years “sur lattes” before disgorging, reveals a perfect balance, where the depth gained over the years is married to a surprising vitality and freshness. Despite its twenty years of aging, the terroir’s chalk continues to resonate, giving this wine a rare clarity and timeless elegance.

“This collection is the result of authentic encounters, built on a community of values, a desire to open up new perspectives together while preserving what makes us strong: our independence. This independence guides each of our actions, rooted in a long and patient time frame, demanding as much curiosity as perseverance. It teaches us, no matter the latitude, to cultivate our vineyards with respect, prudence, and vigilance. It leads us to conceive responsible hospitality and, through prestigious cultural institutions, to create fraternal bonds with established artists and emerging talents. This independence is a loyalty and respect for past and future generations, a freedom and movement: our daily creative dynamic,” explains Frédéric Rouzaud, CEO of the House.
The slow infusion technique, a true signature of the house, allows for gentle extraction of the juicy character of Pinot Noir while preserving a vibrant freshness. The addition of Chardonnay imparts mineral and citrus notes, further enhancing the complexity of this great champagne.
Born in the heart of Champagne, the “Vignoble de la Rivière” terroir brings together the gentleness of the river, the protection of the forest, and the richness of limestone, creating a unique environment for grape maturation. This alchemy is found in the finesse and aromatic richness of the five Rosé Late Release vintages.

To reveal the full subtlety of these cuvées, Louis Roederer partnered with three-Michelin-starred chef Arnaud Lallement of L’Assiette Champenoise. Together, they created an exclusive selection of food and wine pairings, highlighting the distinct characteristics of each vintage. Thanks to its extended aging on lees, the Rosé Late Release develops umami and iodine flavors, with a delicate effervescence, making this champagne a perfect companion for bold culinary creations.
Through this new chapter, Louis Roederer demonstrates that luxury is above all a matter of time and transformation, a tribute to nature and ancestral know-how!
