As the watchmaking complications become even more delectable, a brand new pop art-esque staging becomes appropriate. That’s why Hublot decked out its mythic Moonphase in shades of indigo blue, bold purple, bright orange, and candy pink. The bracelet, quartz dial, sanded moonphase disk, hands, indexes, and encrusted bezel… every single one of the watch’s components is dyed the same shade. Inside its emblematic 42mm barrel case, beneath the sapphire glass, the manually rewinding HUB1770 skeleton movement sees its openwork architecture get a burst of color. This exclusive breed of craftsmanship appears like a kaleidoscope here.

Within this game of contrasts and colors, the legendary Moonphase preserves all the charm that once brought it renown. The complication is still at 6:00. A moon cycle is reproduced on a large round window that makes one round every two lunar months. Here, the Moonphase takes on all its meaning in a 2-hands style, with a small second at 9:00 and the date on a double analogical disk between 12 and 3:00. To accentuate the piece’s depth and geometric effects, the Spirit of Big Bang Moonphase alternates titanium and polished King Gold along with flat shades of color to give it a certain passion for astronomy. But Hublot also means sophistication, so it’s no surprise to see its bezel alternatively encrusted with 48 blue, orange, pink, or amethyst sapphires. As for the bracelet, the newest colors can be found on alligator leather sewn on natural black rubber.
