Kris Van Assche, creative director for Dior’s men’s collections, has declared that Spring/Summer 2017 is to be a season of music – with Dior Rave, he brings the sophisticated universe of Dior into avant-garde with the freedom of electro raves. He thus announced a collaboration with German audio company Sennheiser as a new way to combine fashion and music. “Music has always been a part of my creative process and is an essential element in my runways. This collaboration with Sennheiser came about naturally, like something obvious,” Kris Van Assche points out.

By uniting high performance, craftsmanship, and unparalleled sophistication, the haute couture brand and the audio specialist have created something with rare and exceptional character. The manufacturer’s three emblematic products – the HD 800 S and HDVD 800 headphones, the PXC 550 Wireless headphones, and the inter-ear IE 800 headphones – are thus getting combined with the DNA of Kris Van Assche’s Dior Homme. The result brings audio performance and on-point design together; these three audio products are getting decked out in black, anthracite, and notes of red, the designer’s signature.

Even better, Kris Van Assche had the idea to add a line of bags and pouches that match the collector’s edition of these Sennheiser products. This unique collection is an entire set: the Travel Solution for the PXC 550 Wireless includes the headphones themselves along with a leather Dior Homme bag. For the Daily Solution, Kris Van Assche imagined a flexible leather pouch for the PXC 550 Wireless. Finally, the Pocket Solution, ideal for men who prefer not to get bogged down, is the most nomadic solution for this collector’s edition. Inside each leather pouch can be found the Dior label and a pair of IE 800 headphones with their three-tone cable. This exclusive line is available now.
