Cartier Nature Sauvage — the iconic House on Rue de la Paix in Paris unveils a new Haute Joaillerie collection titled Nature Sauvage… A true hymn to nature in its most dazzling form!

Cartier Nature Sauvage: Bestiary of Haute Joaillerie

In a theatrical setting in Vienna, the house of Cartier presented its Cartier Nature Sauvage collection – a collection that showcases a precious bestiary where each jewel becomes a sculpture animated by the house’s brilliant craftsmanship.

At the heart of this collection, animals once again take center stage in a fascinating spectacle. The panther, an icon of Cartier’s bestiary, leads the way, followed by a series of playful creatures brought to life through the masterful use of precious stones. In the Cartier Nature Sauvage collection, each piece expresses the character and personality of the animals in three dimensions, transcending the limits of mere jewelry to become true works of art.

Among the beloved animals from the house on Rue de la Paix, there is a snow leopard stepping gracefully on an iceberg of diamonds and rock crystals… A pink flamingo frolicking among emerald reeds emerging from a river of aquamarine… These animals appear to camouflage themselves in imaginary environments, blurring the lines between fauna and flora.

The Masterpieces of the Cartier Nature Sauvage Collection

Among the masterpieces of this Cartier Nature Sauvage collection, the Celestin necklace captivates attention. A pink flamingo, a recurring species in Cartier’s designs, stands out here with a beak in black lacquer and rose gold. The emeralds evoke reeds while the aquamarines recall the aquatic environment, all set on a 38.50-carat aquamarine.

Another piece that echoes the icon worn by Maria Felix is the Amphista necklace… Two reptiles coil around the neck, their scales made of diamonds interspersed with emeralds. The heads are crowned with kite-shaped diamonds, and nine octagonal Colombian emeralds totaling 14.72 carats stand out in this hybrid composition.

The Koaga set features a stylized zebra that delicately adorns the ear and décolleté. From the mouth of the zebra, an animal dear to Cartier, hangs an emerald-cut diamond and a pear-shaped rubellite of 6.25 carats. Its coat is a graphic play of onyx stripes, paved with diamonds and emeralds…

The Cartier Nature Sauvage collection thus celebrates the raw beauty and wild elegance of nature. Each jewel, the result of exceptional artisanal craftsmanship, invites an imaginary journey where animals become the guardians of a precious and mysterious world!
