From the 1851 Universal Exposition in London, where Antoine LeCoultre obtained his first gold medal for major contributions to the development of the watchmaking industry, to the creation of the Calibre 101, the watch worn by Queen Elizabeth II for her coronation, with the iconic Reverso made for British polo players in India in between… numerous are the examples that illustrate the particular ties that have bound the United Kingdom and Jaeger-LeCoultre for over a century.

Today, Jaeger-LeCoultre is releasing the most limited edition yet within the Grande Reverso Ultra Thin – tribute to 1931 collection, and it’s all to celebrate the opening of their London flagship. With only 26 copies, the Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1931 London special edition is presented in a beautiful forest green lacquered box, evoking the British countryside and nodding to the legendary sporting color. Moreover, a subtle image of Westminster Palace appears on the reverse side of the casing, alongside the famous Big Ben clock tower, designed, or rather, engraved by Janek Deleskiewicz, the brand’s creative director. The 13 Old Bond Street boutique thus contains the brand’s most complete collection ever to be assembled in the UK. A number of exceptional pieces will be presented there, giving Brits a reason to keep coming back for more.
