Description : The Pol Roger Brut Vintage 2006 cuvée is a champagne made from the traditional blend of the Pol Roger house. Produced in limited quantities, the Pol Roger Brut Vintage 2006 cuvée matured for 9 years in our cellars before being marketed. The Cuvée has a beautiful gold color. The intense nose expresses a marvelous complexity inherent in its maturity. It reveals aromas of yellow and white fruit (quince, apple) combined with notes of dried fruit. The palate is based on a creamy, gourmet and balanced structure. Its lingering freshness is associated with subtle notes of almond that blend on the finish with zesty touches. This structure gives the wine its full consistency and fullness, without betraying its finesse.
A high-quality champagne to be enjoyed as is or as an aperitif, accompanied by foie gras toast. At the table, it will be the ideal companion for both tender and soft dishes such as chicken supreme with chanterelles or sweetbreads with morels.
