In 2004, their workshops released the Chiffre Rouge, the incarnation of the masculine universe of the Monsieur’s brand. It reinterprets all of the label’s graphic codes: black, on its rubber bracelet; red, the color of the casing’s tinted glass or a simple punctuation; asymmetry, that is to say, scars. These were chiseled into the bracelet, imagined as a reference to the savoir-faire and identity of Dior Homme. “Luxury is first and foremost simplicity,” said Christian Dior.
