Icon-Icon Opinion :

A precise and elegant blend of molasses rums and cane syrup, this Brazilian rum was distilled in a multi-column still. It offers a robust character in which the nose, rather opulent, expresses scents of toffee, fudge, macadamia and a strong touch of molasses. A gustative adventure to say the least.

Name of the Product : Brazil Epris 8 Years 2011

Brand : Compagnie des Indes

Description : Here is the cask raw version of the 2011 vintage from the Brazilian distillery Epris.

Like the reduced version, it is a blend of molasses rums and pure cane juice rums that have been distilled in columns.

After aging in place for 6 years, the cask was transported to Europe where it benefited from a continental climate for an additional 2 years (therefore with a lower proportion of angels than during the first 6 years in Brazil). La Compagnie des Indes bottled it in 2019, without reduction or addition.
