While conserving the elegance of the original, the new model has been given its own personality. The most significant change is that the manually-rewinding 930 caliber has morphed into an automatic Co-Axial 3113 caliber. The new Bullhead also disposes of a casing and a dial with a never-before-seen-shape: in the form of a buckle, brushed and polished, the casing perfectly compliments the internal rotating bezel. The unusual placement of the buttons and crowns gives the dashboard a dreamy feel. Flanked with two buttons, its crown at 12 o’clock gives it the name “bullhead” Also on this new edition, the rounded buttons of the original watch are replaced by flat ones.

As for the design, it takes up all the character of the original model. With its internal bezel, counters at 12 and 6 o’clock, and date window at 3 o’clock. A white dial remains visible through a sapphire glass while the screwed down background is graced with the famous Omega seahorse. Its internal white bidirectionally-rotating bezel also shows the day along with a night/day setting adorned with three white numbers that contrast with a blue and black background. All in all, Omega is offering its admirers three different styles, with each limited to only 669 copies. Available exclusively in Omega boutiques.
