It is in 1932 that this symbolic snake of the Bulgari universe appears. Baptized “Tubogas” in reference to the industrial aesthetics of the time, the collection will very quickly become legendary, especially on the wrist of a certain Elizabeth Taylor. The Serpenti myth thus stems from the encounter between a style inspired by antique models and the discovery of jewelry dating from the second half of the 19th century… This ingenious system, articulated by gold hinges, gives the object, through a hidden spring , reptilian flexibility.
