The “Rouge Allure Moiré” line composes one of three parts of the “Rouge Chanel” tryptic, made to illustrate affirmed femininity. Its unique feature: Rouge Allure Moiré captures light to enchant the lips with a nacre effect. It only takes one application to fill the mouth with color, and it only takes a little light for the color to activate with a smile, or a kiss. This moiré lipstick falls on the lips like the promise of a kiss, perfecting an elusive mystery. The effect is obtained by the subtle dosage of nacres composed by Chanel’s Makeup Creation Studio. Without going halfway, the reflections change as the lipstick is made to multiply the light that falls on it.
Just like its box that opens with a tiny bit of pressure – the fabulous glossy tube that allows you to easily find it at the bottom of a bag – the Rouge Allure Moiré incarnates those small irresistible gestures of femininity. And in this campaign, Chanel is tying together its eight shades of lipstick to moods, initiating together the contour of a character – that of an instinctive, mysterious, and spontaneous woman. And so the satiny apricot shade reveals the Surprising woman, the brown is for the Enigmatic one while the one who wears the pink lipstick is Bold. The brand is also releasing two nacre nail polishes, a lipliner, and two Rouge Allure glosses in the same shades but in limited edition versions.
Finally, it’s a click, a color, a signature made of ease and presence. The objective of this line seems to be to be able to identify any woman by the color of her lipstick. Because wearing Rouge Chanel means deciding how you want to live your life.
