Old Bacolet Terroir: On the south coast, protected from the force of the Atlantic trade winds, Old Bacolet was one of the first regions to be cultivated by the French. A floodplain between two small rivers, these alluvial soils -Plains Clay Loam and Woburn Clay- and a high water table produce a lush cane.
