Description :<\/b>This book brings together the elements that are the source of inspiration for the Belgian designer Dries Van Noten: references borrowed from fashion, painting, photography, cinema or music, from the East as well as the West, make up a sort of personal collection, like the Renaissance’s rooms of wonders. The creations of Dries Van Noten are next to the fashion collections of the Arts D\u00e9coratifs, but also a Venus by Yves Klein, an image from the film Orange m\u00e9canique or a portrait of David Bowie… Between them, relationships of analogy or confrontation are established, sometimes surprising, always rich in evocation. This book is an extension of this journey into the visual intimacy of the creator, inviting us to enter his daily life through photographs by Koen de Waal that reveal Dries Van Noten’s house and garden, the main places of his inspiration.
