For the label Miu Miu, Miuccia imagined them brushing up against insolence with a mixture of unexpected fabrics &#8211; precious jewels with a number of gems and rubber. These fantasy shoes brought together arched heels, integrated runners, thin crossed straps, and prude lines all perched on a death-defyingly high heel. The look is wildly divine.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>In 2014, it\u2019s Saint Laurent\u2019s interpretation that\u2019s setting the tone. While the majority of designers only present high heels on the runway, Slimane cuts to the chase and is delivering Mary Janes straight to women everywhere. Varnished or sequined, with single or double straps, black or in marshmallow shades, this nod to preppy pop is to die for. The 60s are Slimane\u2019s&nbsp;<em>raison d\u2019\u00eatre&nbsp;<\/em>at Saint Laurent, and he brings in all the insouciance and rebelliousness of the era.Mary Janes are getting covered in sequins, with flashy varnished leather, stitched with brilliant crystals or metallic nails.
