Jean-Michel Basquiat was a friend, Keith Haring his roommate. \u201cI was 19, Basquiat was 17, and he told me: you’re going to be famous\u201d \u2014 he wasn’t wrong. With his vibrant palette, cartoon motifs, and futuristic approach, Kenny Scharf has been leaving an indelible mark in the art world since the 1980s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
