It\u2019s become a tradition: for the holiday season until January 10th, the den of Parisian fashion hosts the Christmas story of one fashion house every year. After Prada in 2013, Printemps is now partnering up with Burberry. Just for the occasion, the British brand is taking over the window fronts, the fa\u00e7ade, and the atrium of department store Printemps, located on the Boulevard Haussmann in Paris. Inaugurated this week in the presence of the iconic Kate Moss and model Cara Delevingne, this partnership also marks the launching of a collection of limited edition pieces exclusively designed for Printemps. Trench coats, accessories, gift ideas, and collector\u2019s pieces, are all shown off in the window fronts.<\/p>\n
Through these eleven window installations, Burberry is spinning the fabric of its very own Christmas legend. It\u2019s the story of a little boy and his teddy bear, on a journey that begins in Burberry\u2019s flagship at 121 Regent Street in London and ends at the department store Printemps in Paris. Among the sights to be seen on this journey: \u2018The Crossing of the Channel\u2019, a story told by Christopher Bailey, an ace in the fusion of communication technology and fashion. Indeed, with a little help from their smartphones, visitors can enter into the window front experience themselves and interact with each scene. When the little boy crosses the Channel, the spectators can control climate in the window… recreating the sounds and thunder strikes of a storm raging above the sea, with the cliffs of England looming in the background.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
